Twelve Zontians and five Friends of Zonta came together August 4 and 5 to raise money through a garage sale to benefit the Zonta CLUB account. The fun and successful event was held at Kathy Venemon’s house.
Although some members stayed, almost all day, other members took shifts staffing the garage sale. Bob Venemon helped Zonta members with the set-up, clean-up, and selling of items to the public, as well as to ourselves. All and all, 12 members of the Zonta Club of Pocatello participated in this event, a number that represents 67 % of our local membership.

The event was publicized on the Club’s Zonta Facebook site as well as member Facebook sites. The garage sale was also publicized through email notices to Zontians and others who have expressed interested in helping Zonta Club of Pocatello over the years. Finally, a classified advertisement was placed into the local paper (ISJ) on the 4th and 5th of August.
