What are Wolf Wise Communities?

We are thrilled to have Amy Porter, Director of Conservation at Wolf Haven International who will be sharing about their work in Washington State to develop communities that thrive alongside wolves.

As wolf populations increase in the State of Washington, and as individual wolves disperse, we can expect that wolf packs may establish in areas where they currently are not dwelling. Wolf Haven International works in these areas to establish “Wolf Wise Communities”.  Wolves are addressed in Washington State’s Wolf Conservation and Management Plan.
