Zonta USA Advocacy
Public Relations and Communication Committees have gone above and beyond to communicate to Douglas County Residents the impact we are making locally, district and international news and events. Not only has there been coverage that landed us on the front page of the local paper, The News Review also published half page photograph of a woman adjusting her Santa hat and noted the club in the caption. The club was also mentioned several times on local radio stations for the Iron Woman event, the Dignity Drive, and the Santa Run. Zonta international also added a photo of this year’s Santa run to its webpage.
In October the committee could display Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women as well as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This display had not only Zonta material but UCC material that displayed the colleges anti abuse and help line information.
