Zonta South Puget Sound Supports Women in Recovery

Yesterday on behalf of the Zonta Club of South Puget Sound Beverly Masini, Connie Campbell and I delivered two carloads of diapers and baby wipes to Harvest Home inpatient facility and Harvest Program outpatient facility. We also supplied workbooks ” Parenting and Family Values” and “Untangling Relationships”. The Harvest program seeks to support pregnant and parenting women struggling with mental illness and substance use disorders as they focus on recovery. Women involved in the program are able to experience the opportunity for growth without guilt, shame or judgment by making healthy choices and starting to prioritize their personal needs as well as the needs of their children.
